Teaching and Learning Facilitator - World Languages
Under the direction of the Executive Director of Learning and Organizational Development, the Teaching and Learning Facilitator (TLF) provides leadership in the development, implementation of and support for the school division’s K-12 instructional program as well as designs and delivers professional learning opportunities for all educators with emphasis on embedded school-level coaching and support. The TLF focused on K-12 World Language and Culture implements the goals and priorities of the Strategic Plan that pertain to student achievement, C5 W, and innovative teaching and learning practices. The TLF develops communities of practice and networks of teacher -leaders across the school division to ensure ongoing, intense, data-driven adult learning opportunities focused on implementing interdisciplinary approaches, high quality teaching, and continuous growth and learning for all K-12 students. This leadership position is part of a multidisciplinary team of education leaders in Learning and Organizational Development who work together to support all SCPS schools and programs. Supporting improvement in and the expansion of World Language and Culture for SCPS students is a specific focus for this leadership position.
