High School Chemistry Teacher
Must hold a license issued by Utah State Office of Education.
The license position area must be in one of the following areas: Biology/Life Science, Chemistry, Physics, Science (General).
The license must be in one of the following grades: 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th.
The license status must be active or about to graduate from a state-approved teacher preparation program.
Description
Juan Diego Catholic High School is accepting applications for a full-time Chemistry teacher for the 2023-2024 school year. Eligible candidates must have a Bachelor's or Master's in Chemistry or a related field. Candidates must be able to teach Chemistry at a variety of levels: academic, honors and Advanced Placement.
Preferred candidates will have a Master's degree, have the ability to teach across multiple science disciplines, have at least two years of high school teaching experience, and have experience with blended online learning, Google Apps, the PowerSchool student database and the Canvas learning management software. Candidates should be willing to use innovative teaching practices and should possess an understanding of Catholic values.
