Must hold a license issued by Tennessee Department of Education.
The license must be in one of the following types: Apprentice Teacher License, Professional License, Practitioner License.
The license position area must be in one of the following areas: Automotive Technology, CTE (General).
The license must be in one of the following grades: 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th.
The license status must be active or about to graduate from a state-approved teacher preparation program.

Description

Must either have a valid teaching license with endorsement 770 or be qualified to obtain a valid occupational license with endorsement of 508. Qualifications include five years of related work experience within the last eight years. Example qualifying occupational employment includes but not limited to mechanic, automotive technician, service technician, auto body technician, diesel mechanic. Minimum education of High School Diploma or above. Understanding of teacher licensure completion within 3 years of hiring as well as ASE Certifications.
