Description

Position Summary: A private school tutor provides systematic intervention to eligible students with the primary goal of improving academic achievement. Tutors provide capacity to classroom teachers in implementing intervention initiatives, as well as planning, implementing, and assessing intervention services to ensure fidelity. Tutors increase the school’s capacity to effectively implement identified core or universal practices to all students. Although tutors serve students attending private schools, the tutor is an employee of Tulsa Public Schools and reports to the Assistant Director of Grant Compliance. Tutoring must supplement and not supplant other services provided by the private school
