Transportation Supervisor (Effective 2019-2020 SCHOOL YEAR)
Supervises bus drivers and monitors in the operations of the Transportation Department.
High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Four-years school bus driving experience required.
1 Year Supervisory Experience
2 Years Training Experience
Any equivalent combination of experience, training, or education.
Knowledge and ability to use word processing, database and spreadsheet programs.
Ability to demonstrate mechanical skills as needed.
Must not have accrued eight points against driver’s license within the past two years.
Must Speak, Read and Write in English
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AFTER HIRE
Valid Arizona Commercial Driver’s License, Class B, and current Arizona School Bus Driver Certificate required within the probation period.
Valid Arizona Driver’s license if Class B Drivers License is pending
MVReport – showing no more than the allowable points against Driver’s License as described under Governing Board Policy: EEB-R-1 Business and Personnel Transportation Services - Transportation by Employees.
ADOT Medical Certificate required within 90 days of hire.
Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.
Post-Offer/Pre-employment physical examination and lift test (at employee’s own cost).
Must submit to a post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol screen
FBI fingerprint background check (At employee’s expense)
Completion of Behind-the-Wheel Road training within 90 days of hire.

Current Positions availables:
2 Positions - 1.0 FTE - 8 hours per day - 12 Months
Grade 11 - Supr/Prof
Internal candidates will transfer at a rate commensurate with their bargaining unit language.
The hiring range for external candidates will be $19.41 per hour to $22.54 per hour, based on experience.
