HS SPANISH Teacher 2020-2021
Must hold a certificate issued by Florida Department of Education.
The certificate must be in one of the following types: Professional Certificate, Temporary Certificate, Statement of Status of Eligibility.
The certificate position area must be in Spanish.
The certificate must be in one of the following grades: 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th.
The certificate status must be active or about to graduate from a state-approved teacher preparation program.
Seeking a highly-qualified, certified educator to join the dynamic team at Franklin Academy Pembroke Pines K-12 Campus for the 2020-2021 school year. As a school we pride ourselves on having high standards as professionals as well as support our students through the learning process.
Essential functions of the job may include but are not limited to the following:
-Plan, prepare and deliver lesson plans and instructional materials that facilitate active learning -Develop lesson plans, units of study and assessments that are aligned with state standards and established procedures -Instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment -Use relevant technology to support and differentiate instruction -Manage student behavior in the classroom by establishing and enforcing rules and procedures -Maintain discipline in accordance with the rules and disciplinary systems of the school -Provide appropriate feedback on work; Encourage and monitor the progress of individual students and use information to adjust teaching strategies -Maintain accurate and complete records of students' progress and development -Update all necessary records accurately and completely as required by laws, district policies and school regulations -Prepare required reports on students and activities -Participate in department, school, district and parent meetings -Other duties as assigned.
