Crystal River Elementary School (Carbondale, CO) is seeking applications from dynamic, knowledgeable and innovative teachers to serve in the Elementary grades (3-4 TBD) for school year 2020-21 (one-year assignment). Full benefits are lincuded. Our teachers ensure that every student develops the enduring knowledge, skills and character to thrive in a changing world. 

Crystal River Elementary School (CRES) serves a diverse and multilingual student population of 450 PreK- 4th grade students. Teachers at CRES work closely and collaboratively with their team to develop and implement RFSD instructional model, and are supported through ongoing coaching cycles to help the continuous improvement of their craft. CRES seeks a knowledgeable, positive, and proactive individual who strives to build strong relationships with parents, students, and colleagues and embraces the mission and vision of our school.

Required Qualifications:

*Colorado Teaching License (K-6)


Desired Qualifications:

*Elementary primary-grade teaching experience

*Experience teaching a diverse population of students including English Language Learners and previous work with intentionally implementing culturally responsive instruction.

*Strong background in literacy and mathematics instruction.

*Training in Orton-Gillingham (OG) basic, and/or advanced levels

*Experience designing and delivering high-quality PBL units
