Special Education Paraprofessional
Lewis-Palmer School District 38, located in Monument, CO, is looking for a high school special education paraprofessional for the 2020-21 school year. Must be willing and able to support high school aged students with a wide range of needs. Experience with Autism highly preferred. Must be a flexible team player and have the genuine desire to work with high school ages. Must be able to assist in small group activities or work one-on-one to follow the educational support plans for the students. Must be able to work as part of a team. Under No Child Left Behind guidelines, applicants must possess a minimum of 48 hours of college credit (with or without an Associates Degree) or must have taken and passed the ACT Workkeys exam. The starting hourly wage for this position is not negotiable, but between $14.00 to $15.52 depending on previous experience. Higher pay is granted for holders of RBT Certification, holders of a CNA, RMA/CMA Certificate, or for teachers holding a current license or 5-year Sub Authorization. This position is full time, 7.5 hrs per day on school days and includes the full benefits package. This position is opened until filled.
