Lewis-Palmer School District 38, located in Monument, CO, is seeking a part-time (0.6 FTE or 22.5 hrs/wk) School Social Worker beginning with the 2020-21 school year. Must have, or be eligible to receive a Colorado Special Services Provider license endorsed in School Social Worker issued by the Colorado Department of Education. Must be able to provide direct services to students, and to collaborate/consult with staff. Must be a team player. Experience developing behavior support plans for students with a variety of emotional and cognitive needs preferred. Knowledge of RTI a plus. Experience with pro social and affective education skills a plus. This is a part-time position. The only benefits with this position would be paying into the Colorado PERA retirement program. Exact placement on the salary schedule can only be determined by the Executive Director of Personnel upon contracting.
