SUMMARY
Effectively manage the learning environment to prepare lesson plans, instruct students, evaluate and monitor
students’ performance in order to advance student achievement. Understand and appreciate diversity.
Work collaboratively with a team to plan instruction. Demonstrate commitment to continuous learning.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Arizona Secondary Certificate with Math Approved Area
OR
Arizona Subject Matter Expert Certificate with Math Approved Area
Current Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
Demonstrated success in engaging African American and Latino students
Bilingual (Spanish) endorsement

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AFTER HIRE
Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.

.60 FTE - 4.5 hours per day

Internal candidates will transfer at a rate commensurate with their bargaining unit language.
The hiring range for external candidates will be $40, 200.00 - 47,700.00, based on experience.

This position may be eligible for a one-time $5,000.00 stipend for new to District teachers.  Hard to fill position- HS Math Teacher.

Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.
