Must hold a license issued by any agency.
The license position area must be in one of the following areas: Algebra I, Algebra II, Calculus, Geometry, Math (General), Pre-Algebra, Pre-Calculus, Probability and Statistics, Trigonometry.
The license must be in one of the following grades: 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th.
The license status must be active or about to graduate from a state-approved teacher preparation program.
Description
Teach secondary mathematics I, II, and III courses to students in Grades 9-12.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Teach high quality math lessons (using USOE Common Core) to students. 2. Use a variety of instructional strategies to provide equity and excellence to students of all ability levels. 3. Participate in on-going planning, development, and evaluation of curriculum. 4. Work cooperatively with other teachers in developing and sharing curriculum strategies, program planning, lab preparation, and team teaching. 5. Maintain accurate records and complete all student progress reports, report cards, etc. 6. Participate in all staff and department meetings.
