CTE Foods/Culinary Arts Teacher
The CTE Foods/Culinary Arts Teacher is responsible for providing instruction in direct alignment with state and federal career and technical education, in the area of vocational preparation within Spectrum’s CREATE program: Career Readiness, Educational Advancement, Training, and Employment (CREATE).
Essential Functions: Implements the assigned program of study. Conducts standardized assessments with full ethical and test administration requirements. Fosters a classroom climate conducive to learning. Utilizes instructional management systems that increase student learning and maximize time on task. Develops and implements Individual Education Programs (IEPs) in accordance with school policy. Monitor student progress towards achieving instructional objectives and goals on the IEPs. Communicates effectively with vocational program stakeholders to further develop Spectrum's CREATE program. Establishes and develops relationships with community partners for on-the-job training. Meets professional responsibilities. Maintains and upgrades professional skills. Maintains professional work habits. Promotes and maintains positive pupil-teacher-parent relationships. Adheres to the teacher code of conduct. Performs other job related duties as assigned by the Principal and the Regional Director
