HR Generalist I (For hire July 1, 2020)
The HR Generalist-I position assists the HR Department to complete administrative and clerical tasks of the day-to-day HR office functions (e.g. onboarding, performance management and employee evaluations, personnel records management, employee investigations, workplace surveys, employee handbook and associated legal and policy compliance tasks required by federal, state and local authorities). The HR generalist uses basic and essential clerical knowledge, reading/writing and computational skills; and administrative abilities to perform office support tasks (e.g. maintain records; process documents; learn and use HR software programs; process invoices, maintain confidential documents; conduct internet research; and complete special projects). While this is an entry-level position to the field of human resources administration, the position requires a high level of tact, diplomacy, and maturity to provide outstanding customer service for a 2500 person full-time workforce and 1600 casual or seasonal employees.
