Job Description The Utah Schools for the Deaf and the Blind (USDB) invites you to consider an enjoyable and gratifying employment opportunity with our school. We are looking for a knowledgeable, caring and innovative audiologist. This position is located the Central Utah area.

Principal Duties As an Audiologist for USDB you will: Experience with pediatric audiology and best practices. Perform audiological evaluations for all USDB students and outside referrals. Occasional travel with possible overnight trips throughout the State to perform testing and diagnostic evaluations of students. Recommend habilitative and rehabilitative courses. Consult with parents, staff and other associated professionals regarding audiological evaluations and rehabilitative options. Program hearing aids using pediatric best practices. Fit personal Hearing Assistive Technology devices and inservice teachers and parents on their use. Provide training to mainstream educators regarding equipment and other accommodations for individual students. Generate audiological evaluation reports. of audiological evaluations. Lift and carry moderately heavy equipment associated with audiological testing. Drive state vehicles as necessary.
