Must hold a license issued by Utah State Office of Education.
The license must be in one of the following types: Elementary Education (1-8) (Level 2), Elementary Education (K-6) (Level 1).
The license position area must be in one of the following areas: Computers, Elementary Teacher, Success for All, Title I.
The license must be in one of the following grades: Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th.
The license status must be active.
We are looking for a DYNAMIC elementary teacher who can inspire and engage students in a place-based environmental education school, using the local community and environment to teach academic concepts, while emphasizing hands-on, real-world learning experiences. Our mission is to create a school that utilizes place-based environmental education to foster autonomous, life-long learning through knowledge of and responsibility for the environment. The successful candidate for this position will be an inspirational and passionate educator with the ability to deliver an inquiry-based, academic program. This educator will cultivate cognitive skills while guiding students to appreciate the arts, their environment, their community and to learn through work and play.
