We have a great staff to work with, and even greater cadets. We have a solid graduation plan that includes 27 credits.
Our military model is unique and attracts cadets that want to attend West Point, University of Utah, etc as well those who simply want to graduate and enlist into the military or attend trade/tech school.
You will work closely with the Military Dept on CCRs (previously called SEOPs), as we have a weekly Flight Time, where all cadets meet in small groups for various, character building opportunities. Our military personnel are trained to counsel, though NOT as counselors. The military is about taking care of the needs of the troops, which means that ranking NCOs and officers have provided career and guidance counseling for many years, though not as a professional guidance counselor does. What this means, is that done right, they can be a support to your work.
We have the typical challenges of youth associated with broken families and difficult decisions made outside of school. In general, we have a great team and many strong, supportive parents.
