Position Summary: The role of the High School Strength & Weights/Medical Terminology/Exercise Science Teacher at this rigorous academic public charter school is to provide students with differentiated instruction to meet their individual needs.

Planning and Preparation • Learns the curriculum in its entirety for 9-12th Grade Sports Medicine/Exercise Science and Health courses • Demonstrates knowledge of the Utah Core standards and how it aligns with the curriculum

Instruction and Student Achievement • Sets and enforces deadlines for student work • Evaluates student work and maintain grade book • Differentiates instruction and provides relentless support that leads to student achievement • Tracks students’ progress, achievement and attendance • Completes Quarterly Progress Reports for students on case load
