Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Knowledge of instructional methods appropriate for secondary students.
Meets and instructs assigned classes in the location and times designated.
Plans a program of study that meets the individual needs, interests, and abilities of the students.
Creates a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interest of the students.
Monitors, supervises, coordinates, and enforces rules of conduct and behavior for assigned students, and reinforces positive student behaviors in accordance with school and district policy.
Evaluate and grade students' class work, assignments, and papers.
Guides the learning process toward the achievement of curriculum goals.
Establishes clear objectives for all lessons, units, projects and assessments and clearly communicates these objectives to the students.
Evaluates pupils' academic and social growth, keeps appropriate records and prepares progress reports as required/requested.
Coordinates and collaborates with other department, building, and district staff in a positive and professional manner.
Maintain a high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information.
Will be available to students and parents for education-related purposes to build a cooperative working relationship that will facilitate student growth and family involvement with our school.
Perform such other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the principal and/or his/her designee.

Salary Range: $36000-$49750 (depending on experience and education).
