The essential function of the position within the organization is to coordinate all functions related to the procurements of goods and services, insuring compliance with District policies and procedures. The position is responsible for overseeing procurement functions including but not limited to those made with purchase card or purchase order. They will administering all competitively bid processes including preparation of bid documents, bid meetings and recommendation to award. This position also acts as the purchase card administrator for the District. Position works under the supervision of the Director of Internal Services.
This department is currently located at the AJ Henriquez Administrative Complex on Trumbo Road in Key West. However, we will move to our new location in Stock Island upon completion of our new facility (sometime around July/August.) Employee may be required to travel occasionally to alternate MCSD location for meetings, trainings, etc., as needed.
Salary Range: $59,100 131A1 - $73,600 131J3
