SUMMARY
Provides assistance with the monitoring of grants and budgeting.
 
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Two years business office experience
Basic knowledge of accounting practices and principles
Knowledge of USFR Chart of Accounts Budget Coding
Verbal & written communication skills in English and a demonstrated ability to read and comprehend written/graphic and oral instructions.  
Basic knowledge of accounting practices and principles and computer software applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, PowerPoint, or Scantron as required.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  
Experience creating and using Excel Spreadsheets
Any equivalent combination of experience, training, or education.
 
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Associate degree in accounting or related field 
Two (2) years experience in Federal and State Grants Management program support 42
Knowledge of 21st Century Community Learning Centers Grants program implementation, compliance, and evaluation requirements
Experience in using grant program systems for data collection and analysis
Experience in submission of Federal and State grant program reports
Knowledge of grant records retention requirements
 
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AFTER HIRE
FBI fingerprint background check (at employee’s expense).
Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.

LOCATION – 21st CCLC Office - 1010 E 10th St
$12.58 per hour
.50 FTE - 4 hours a day
12 month position

THIS IS A GRANT FUNDED POSITION. LENGTH OF ASSIGNMENT MAY BE ADJUSTED ACCORDING TO GRANT FUNDING IF NECESSARY. 


Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.
