OFFICE COORDINATOR- CATALINA FOOTHILLS HIGH SCHOOL
Hiring Pay Range: $19.23 - $20.41/hr, DOE
FTE: 1.0 (40 hours per week)
Schedule: Monday- Friday 7:30am-4:00pm
10 months, 192 paid work days per year

Definition:
Under general supervision performs work of moderate difficulty coordinating and providing administrative support activities.
Essential Functions:

Tasks:
• Answer phones, route calls and takes messages.
• Pick up and deliver mail to students and staff.
• Greet and direct students and visitors to appropriate person or place.
• Communicate with staff, students and parents.
• Serve as resource to students, staff and public.
• Communicate with employees regarding policies, benefits and other employment issues.
• Prepare word processing correspondence documents.
• Produce, copy and distribute periodic newsletters, flyers, mailings and documents.
• Maintain, update and share teacher and student calendars.
• Monitor test taking for teachers as requested.
• Assist with supervising students as needed.
• Monitor halls, restrooms and monitor building doors during lunch periods when buildings are closed.
• Maintain student attendance records and follow up with parents as needed.
• Maintain student discipline files.
• Monitor and track purchase orders and budget status and produce related reports.
• Prepare and submit deposit transmittals.
• Maintain databases and spreadsheets and generate periodic reports.
• Order office supplies following all procurement rules and regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Other Characteristics:
Knowledge of standard office practices and procedures.
Knowledge of CFSD campus access rules and regulations.
Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software.
Skill in using word processing and spreadsheet software.
Skill in communicating effectively, orally and in writing.
Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff, administrators, students, parents and the general public.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED and one (1) year of administrative experience.
Special Requirements:
Must possess or have the ability to obtain a Level I – IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card through the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
