SUMMARY: Assist full time staff in all areas of work related to Technology, Audio Viusual Systems at ACHS. Must be 16 or older to apply.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, & EQUIPMENT: Basic math, writing, communication. Operating knowledge of lighting and sound equipment equipment, common hand tools and various indoor equipment. Basic knowledge of Computers, Audio, and Lighting Systems.
RESPONSIBILITY: Perform general operation of technical systems at ACHS Auditorium - in conjunction with the Theater/Drama Teacher at ACHS.
JUDGMENT AND DECISION MAKING: Work is assigned by work orders, supervisor or fulltime staff. Work is guided by Adams 14 policies and procedures. Decision-making requires collaboration with employees, district building employees and co-workers, and some outside clients and vendors. Supervisor is involved in all decisions.
SAFETY TO SELF AND OTHERS: Medium exposure to self and others to bruises, cuts, chemical burns, heat burns, fractured bones, hernia, loss of limb, disfigurement and fatality due to working with heavy equipment, tools or having an accident.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to taste or smell. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outdoor weather conditions; work with explosives; vibration. The employee is frequently exposed to exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; risk of electrical shock. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; extreme cold; extreme heat; risk of radiation. The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud.
MENTAL FUNCTIONS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to compare, analyze, communicate, evaluate, use interpersonal skills.
SALARY: $18.16/hr. Adams 14 is a direct deposit employer. All new employees must be fingerprinted per H.B. 90-1077 at a cost of $40.00 to the employee.
