Position Title:    Project Manager  
Position Department:   Operations  
Reports To:  Sr. Project Manager  
The Project Manager manages key client projects with a focus on process improvement initiatives and software implementations.  Responsibilities include the coordination and completion of projects on time within budget and within scope.  Prepare reports of upper management regarding project status.    

? Develop a detailed project plans to monitor, track progress, create and maintain comprehensive project documentation; facilitate planning sessions at various stages of project lifecycles.    
? Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget.  
? Report and escalate to management as needed.  
? Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long term goals.  
? Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analyses  
? Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.  
? Manage the execution of deliverables while controlling scope.  
? Ensure timely resolution of project roadblocks; manage and appropriately escalate delivery impediments, risks, issues, and changes associated with project deliverables. Update the appropriate stakeholders as needed.  
? Assign and monitor the work of technical personnel, ensuring that project steps are in alignment with business objectives, on-time and within budget.  
? Execute change management processes when needed.  
? Ensure all the required deliverables are produced and reviewed, including the technical  leadership of requirements, management, design, implementation, system integration, verification, test, quality assurance, delivery, operations, and sustainment of the technical solution.  
? Prepare reports for upper management regarding project status.
? Perform other related duties as assigned by the PMO.  
Education, Certifications, and Experience  
? Bachelor's Degree required  
? CAPM or PMP certification required  
? 3+ years of Project Manager experience with gradually increasing responsibilities and a demonstrated understanding of Project Management processes, artifacts and tools.  
? Demonstrated ability to follow solid project management principles.  
? Strong sense of personal responsibility and accountability for delivering high quality work.  
? Excellent judgment, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.  
? Experience in business process mapping or operational redesign / improvement.  
? Effective working in a matrixed management environment.  
? Strong communication skills, able to effectively interact with project sponsors, internal stakeholders, customers, and vendors.  
? Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, relationship building skills and ability to achieve results without direct reporting relationships.  
? Ability to quickly identify and drive to the optimal solution when presented with a series of constraints.  
? Ability to travel as needed. (Approx. 2-5 days per quarter)   
Background Checks  
? The incumbent in this position will be required to pass a criminal history background check.  
? Must be able to obtain and hold a valid IVP Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.
