We are accepting applications for the following position:
Special Education Paraeducator/Transportation
- Cooper Elementary.
- 6:30 am – 7:45 am bus transportation.
- Will be working particularly with one special education child with cognitive, communication, and social/emotional needs in the transitional classroom.
- Will assist all children as appropriate.
- Knowledge of PBIS as will provide positive behavior supports.
- Will be trained in CPI.
- Will assist with Medicaid claiming.
- 7.75 hours per day; 6:30 am – 2:45 pm, 30-minute duty-free lunch.
- Start Date: October 2019.
- High School diploma or GED and one of the following: Completion of at least 60 college credits at an institution of higher education; an associate or higher degree, OR Paraeducator certification Level I.
