Lewis-Palmer School District 38, located in Monument, CO has an immediate opening for a Caterer in the Food/Nutritional Services Department.  Must be willing and able to book the school district event, work the event and schedule additional help, if needed, plan the menu and price out the menu, provide estimated cost for event, shop for product, receive and store product properly, prepare product, set up and deliver catering, serve and breakdown the catering event.  Is responsible for all clean up; wash dishes, put away, sweep, mop, laundry.  Must be able to maintains records of all caterings, prepare invoices and bill customer, make bank deposits, track catering revenues and expenses, inventory.  Must be proficient with computer software word processing and spreadsheet programs.  Must also be willing and able to maintain appropriate paperwork on catering vehicle.  Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record in order to be covered on the District's auto insurance policy.  Even though this employee is assigned specifically to catering, is also part of the Food/Nutritional Services team and may be required to work other assignments as needed.  The ideal candidate will be able to adjust to new and changing situations at a moment's notice.  At this time, the position does not come with fringe benefits other than paying into the Colorado PERA Retirement Program; however, the demands of the position may change to be full-time with full benefits.  The position pays $15/hr.  In order to be considered, please complete the online application as soon as possible.  Applications will be reviewed as they are received.  This position is open until filled.
