POSITION OVERVIEW

The Digital Marketing Specialist will assist in all digital marketing efforts (SEO, PPC, Facebook ads…) to promote Legacy Traditional Schools to prospective and current families. This person will be instrumental in optimizing SEO/SEM best practice strategies. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Develop and execute engaging and effective marketing campaigns across all digital channels
  • Optimize our paid search programs for conversion-focused performance (Google Adwords, Facebook advertising…)
  • Develop a scalable SEO program to fuel organic search activity
  • Ongoing keyword research, analysis, recommendation and implementation into content and other aspects of websites and social media.
  • Optimize/update content on website
  • Local listings optimizations (Google, Facebook, Yelp,…)
  • Create and analyze Google Analytics, ranking reports and social analytics data to make recommendations to optimize website and social media content.
  • Implement and enhance retargeting strategy
  • Report on key metrics (cost per lead/enrollment…) monthly and weekly
  • Communicate website and campaign performance, return on investment (ROI), make recommendations for additional online marketing strategies to increase conversion and growth.
  • Set up testing plans (copy, ads, landing pages) for continuous performance improvement and optimization of the campaigns
  • Work with team to develop and implement new strategies designed to improve overall brand awareness and targeted Search Engine Results Page (SERP) results.
  • Assist with digital reputation management strategy

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Education, Certifications, and Experience
  •  Bachelor degree in Marketing, Communication, Journalism, Advertising or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1-year experience in SEO, SEM and/or social media marketing.
  • Proven expertise in social media campaigns.
  • Must be able to show examples of past work including but not limited to optimized web content, owned websites, paid search, digital marketing campaigns.
  • Experience in Marketing and/or Content Writing for the Web
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and project management skills
  • Strategic thinker
  • Basic understanding of the marketing funnel and the different phases of the customer journey\
  • Self-starter with a high level of initiative, strong sense of ownership and a disciplined approach to quality and its effect on the intended audience.
  • Microsoft office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Basic HTML, Wordpress, graphic design knowledge is preferred but not required
BACKGROUND CHECKS
  • The incumbent in this position will be required to pass a criminal history background check
  • Must be able to obtain and hold a valid IVP Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card at all times
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Travel between campuses is required from time to time.
  • This position requires the need to lift objects (up to 25 pounds) on occasion.
  • This position may require sitting for long periods at times, talking on the phone, standing, kneeling, stooping and long periods of concentration.
  • Local and instate travel required.
KPI’s
This position will be measured by the following:
  • Cost Per Lead, Cost Per Enrollment, broken down by inquiry type and source, i.e Facebook performance vs Google organic inquiries
  • Number of digital leads generated via various channels
  • Number of tours scheduled online
  • SEO rankings by campus and for Legacy in general
  • Traffic to websites
  • Online reputation management (reviews)
  • Number of tours scheduled online
