Cañon City School District Fremont RE-1 is accepting applications for SUBSTITUTE TEACHERS. A Colorado Substitute Teaching Authorization or Colorado Teacher License is required.
If you have a Bachelor’s degree but no license and want to teach, you can secure a three year authorization. Please visit the CDE website for an application.

  • A background check is required.
  • Daily pay rate:  Bachelor’s Degree, $90 per full day; Master’s Degree, $110 per full day.
