Elementary/MS Music Teacher - part time

Work with a caring K-8 school community that has a tradition of singing as an important part of education. St. Francis Xavier is seeking a candidate that will inspire and energize students with a love of music. This 3/5 position includes preschool-5th grade general music classes and Middle School elective courses such as ukulele, musical theatre, voice or other subject of instructor choice. The music position can be supplemented with a stipend for beginning and advanced band and conducting a children's choir. Evening Christmas and Spring Concert programs are part of the school calendar. Candidates should have strong organizational, children's vocal pedagogy, accompanist, clear communication skills with parents and classroom management skills.
