Mental Health Therapist (#1671110)
Utah International Charter School is a small, very diverse secondary school in its seventh year of operation in South Salt Lake City. Our mission is to give English learners full access to a rigorous secondary curriculum by providing content-based, sheltered English instruction in every class, and to empower refugees, immigrants and American-born students with collaboration skills, critical-thinking skills, and diverse global perspectives. Eighty percent of our students came to the U.S. as refugees, and 80% are English language learners. We are seeking a licensed mental health therapist with expertise in family therapy to assist our students and families with problems related to mental and emotional health and family functioning. This is a new, half-time position supported by the state’s School-Based Mental Health Qualified Grant Program.
