SUMMARY
Monitors Individual Education Plan (IEP) paperwork for self contained placement options for Psychologist and Assistant Directors, documenting profiles, correspondence with the IEP teams, service times and placement changes. Maintains databases that help determine authorization for exceptional education funding. Acts as a resource for district staff regarding exceptional education compliance issues.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Associate’s Degree in Social Services, Education, or a related field
AND
One year of general office procedure experience
OR
Three years of experience of general office experience working in Exceptional Education.
One year prior experience as an Exceptional Education Compliance Technician
Verbal & written communication skills in English and a demonstrated ability to read and comprehend written/graphic and oral instructions.
Strong computer skills required, including experience with Windows, database management, word processing and spreadsheet applications.
Basic math skills.
Any equivalent combination of experience, training, or education.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AFTER HIRE
FBI fingerprint background check (at employee’s expense).
Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.
