River's Edge Behavior Specialist Position Full-time (#1600596)
Position requires a special education or related field licensure, and successful experience providing behavioral consultation and in-service. Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification helpful. Experience implementing school-wide and class-wide positive behavioral and intervention supports (PBIS) models essential. Must have extensive experience developing/implementing Functional Behavior Assessments and Behavior Intervention Plans. Requires comprehensive and functional understanding of Least Restrictive Behavior Interventions and the ability to design, set up, monitor and evaluate behavior management programs and data collection systems. Must be willing to be trained and conduct inservices as a MANDT or A.S.P.E.N. trainer. Applicants must also demonstrate competence in federal and district compliance procedures, crisis management, behavior management and curriculum/classroom instruction and must have demonstrated ability to plan, develop, and implement inservice training for staff.
