POSITION: HUMAN RESOURCES SECRETARY ~ DISTRICT OFFICE (40 HOURS PER WEEK, 250 DAY CONTRACT POSITION, WITH BENEFITS)
District Expectations for Human Resources Secretary: In Coordination with Director of Human Resources: • Oversee AESOP Substitute Placement & Absence Management System; • Conduct Monthly Substitute Training, Process Paperwork, etc; • Update Job Descriptions & Data Bases, as Needed; • Hiring: Post Job Openings, Collect & Process Applications, Conduct Reference Checks, Communicate With Administrators, Collect Hiring & End of Employment Paperwork, etc; • Administer Para Tests and Process Highly Qualified Forms, etc; • Manage & Maintain Confidentiality of Employee Personnel Information (files, building access, etc); • Maintain Timely and Appropriate Communication With Applicants, Employees, Supervisors & Community Members, as Needed, Utilizing Superb Oral and Written Communication Skills; • Fingerprint New Hires, Current Employees, Volunteers, & Community Members; • Maintain Personnel Module and Applicant Portal in ALIO Accounting System; • Operate with Accuracy and Organization; • Other duties as assigned by District Human Resources Director.
Education/Experience: • High School Diploma, at Minimum; • Skilled at Using Computers (word processing, publishing, spreadsheets, etc.); • Minimum of 50 WPM Typing Speed (documented by current type test results); • Minimum of Three Years of Secretarial Experience or Training;
