Technology Coordinator / Desktop Support Analyst (#1515285)
Newcastle Public Schools is accepting applications for a Technology Coordinator / Desktop Support Analyst. Job responsibilities will include end-user hardware and software problem diagnosis and troubleshooting, installation of new technologies including cabling, and end-user training as needed on hardware and software issues. Preferred skills and experience include supporting desktop hardware, printers, projectors and related equipment; Windows desktop, Google Chrome, Apple operating systems; Active Directory user and computer management, network security protocols and practice. This position requires lifting up to 50 pounds, moving equipment around and between buildings and climbing stairs and ladders. The successful candidate will exhibit a customer-oriented attitude in all interactions with staff or students, be able to work in a team environment and be able to prioritize work order tickets and projects. Final-round applicants must provide references to verify prior experience. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with standard benefits including health insurance. Annual salary is $35,000.
