BASIC FUNCTION Job Description Teach biology basics to high school. Develop engaging curricula, including lab experiments and other scientific investigations; present lessons and evaluate student performance. • Using a variety of teaching strategies and learning tools to help different kinds of learners Being responsible for designing and implementing lessons, assessing student progress, monitoring student achievement, and maintaining a positive classroom environment. • It is important that the applicant enjoys working in a collaborative teaching/learning environment. • Adhering to and supporting board policy, school guidelines, administrative rules and directives.

The Core curriculum includes ideas, concepts, and skills which provide a foundation on which subsequent learning may be built.
