High School Computer Science Teacher
Must hold a license issued by Utah State Office of Education.
The license must be in Career and Technical Education (ARL).
The license position area must be in one of the following areas: Technology Education (Industrial Arts), Architecture, Drafting and Design, Communications, Computer Networking, Computer Programming, Computer Science, Construction, Electronics, Energy and Power, Engineering, Graphics/CAD, Industrial Systems.
The license must be in one of the following grades: 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th.
The license status must be active or about to graduate from a state-approved teacher preparation program.
Description
Juan Diego Catholic High School is now accepting applications for a full-time Computer Science Teacher for the 2025-26 school year. Teaching responsibilities will include a combination of classes in computer literacy, game design, mobile app design, basic and intermediate coding, Virtual Reality, AP Computer Science Principles and AP Computer Science A (Java). Eligible candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree (Computer Science or Engineering preferred). Applicants must also possess an understanding of Catholic values and a commitment to uphold them. Preferred candidates will have a Master’s degree in their subject area, have the ability to teach across multiple subject disciplines, hold a current Utah state teaching license, and have at least two years teaching experience.
