The Salt Lake School for the Performing Arts is an award winning Performing Arts public charter school. Students who attend SLSPA are passionate about their craft and are often involved in many performing arts disciplines. Teachers at SLSPA are also deeply passionate about their craft and are able to share that passion with the students they teach. Teachers work with students at both entry level and with those who have already achieved a high level of mastery within their disciplines. Teachers are expected to take a student from wherever they are and help them improve, in preparation for college or career entrance.

Must be willing and able to teach the following courses: Classical Guitar, AP Music Theory, Music Composition, Music Theory Fundamentals, Classical Guitar Ensemble

Preference will be given to candidates that have: -- previous teaching experience. --A solid foundation in Music history and Theory will be needed. --Skill in working with both individuals and group instruction --Ability to mentor students and help them prepare for and make connections in a post-high school world (college or career) --Ability to help students develop a solid musical repertoire and/or portfolio --understanding of the importance of classical music training as the foundation for other genre
