Promise Academy is one of the oldest charter schools in Memphis. It currently operates two schools with approximately 400 students at each location. Class sizes are small and resources, materials and technology are ample. Candidates are responsible for teaching either Mathematics, English/Language Arts, Social Studies or Science. The school departmentalizes beginning in first grade. The school utilizes Core Knowledge Language Arts (CKLA), Eureka Math, Amplify Science. Candidates must be willing to work hard and work in an urban environment.
Responsibilities and Duties
Teach elementary students in the core academic areas. Duties incidental to operation of an elementary school.
