IT Technician (#1444567)
The IT Specialist’s role is to support IT Manager on various system monitoring, maintenance and support of all networked software and operating systems. Where applicable this individual will also provide end-user support and troubleshooting of applications and software.
• Monitor and support the ticket queue • Answer calls placed to the Service Desk, gather information and make tickets from the information gathered. • Prepare new hires’ computers with all necessary hardware and software components, and create their accounts. • Support the operation and setup of the digital phone system, printers and network troubleshooting. • Maintain and support gmail mailboxes and their addresses. • Support the operation of computer peripherals such as scanners, faxes, switches, wireless routers, and mobile devices. • Support and maintain all AV equipment. • Document reoccurring problems and identify the root cause to find solutions. • Work on-call on an as needed basis. • Participate in network projects that can improve the school’s infrastructure efficiency.
