Broad Scope of Position: Responsible for maintaining the integrity and accuracy of student’s academic records and information through various means: Infinite Campus, student files, forms and databases. Assists the Director of Admissions to develop, maintain and implement all enrollment procedures and policies with new and returning students.
• Two years of educational or administrative experience. • One year of customer service required. • High proficiency with general computer functions, email, electronic calendar internet, Microsoft Teams, MS Word and Excel. • Manages and communicates in a professional manner with students, parents, staff and the general public through email, phone, correspondence, and in person. • Ability to multitask and work in a fast pace environment is essential. • Ability to work independently and be proactive in meeting the needs of the department. • Accurate, organized and efficient; able to set up and execute systems for accomplishing tasks in a timely manner. • Customer service skills that 1) result in pleasant and effective interaction with students, parents and staff members; 2) meet the needs of parents and students, 3) support and assist the Admissions department. • Knowledge of Infinite Campus and CDE Regulations is helpful but not required.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
• Answers and returns phone calls and emails and assists visitors to the Registrar’s office. • Maintain the enrollment process to include processing all enrollments for incoming students. • Provides appropriate and accurate information to prospective students and their parents. • Facilitates appropriate communication between the Admissions department and staff, students and parents. • Schedules campus visits for prospective students. • Proficient with Infinite Campus, MS Office, Microsoft Teams and any other computer-based tools CECP and/or the Admissions Department utilizes, with the goal of being able to help and support the Director of Admissions, students and parents. • Directs student assistants and parent volunteers when appropriate, to accomplish a specific project. • Maintains all electronic and physical student files and information. • Assist with collecting Attendance Verification forms. • Helps to maintain CEC’s database (Infinite Campus). • Assists in the process of collecting and entering grades. • Sends transcripts as needed. • Collect documentation for enrollment verifications and withdrawals. • Supports the Director of Admissions in reporting data as required by the Colorado Department of Education and the Colorado Charter School Institute. • Assists staff members with questions and/or guidance related to students. • Assists students/parents/staff with various tasks to include, but not limited to making copies, filing, mail delivery, faxing, scanning, Infinite Campus and CSEC website.
Work Environment This job operates in a professional school environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Physical Demands This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary.
