Description

Little Axe High School is in need of a certified English teacher for the 2019-2020 school year. Our school has 400 students in grades 9-12. High school English literature teachers work with students in grades 9 through 12, instructing them on how to read and interpret English literature. High school English literature teachers develop lesson plans and exams, grade papers, assign readings, facilitate discussion about English literature, and prepare students for standardized tests. They also perform general duties including supervising advocacy and measuring student progress, and working with colleagues and parents as necessary.

Little Axe District is on a 4 day work week, secondary school classes start at 7:35 daily with a 30 minute lunch ending at 3:15.

Teachers also act as advocates and have a 25 minute class daily with students who they mentor and act as advocates for throughout that student's high school career.

Little Axe High School students are some of the most caring and polite you'll ever teach. Simply put WE ARE LITTLE AXE!
