DEAN of Students TOSA Position-- looking for a highly motivated, hard working, experienced individual to join a new team of leaders. We are searching for a unique individual that is interested in playing an essential role in the success of Vikan Middle School. Someone who is humble enough to know when to ask for help yet confident enough to stand up and have a strong voice in decisions. An educator that understands the level of urgency a school must have in order to increase achievement and is willing to be an innovative and creative thinker and problem solver.  

Current or previous DEAN or AP experience within 27J Schools is required.

Required Qualifications:
  1. A valid Colorado Department of Education Teaching License.
  2. Colorado Department of Education “In Field” by CDE endorsement or qualifications to teach the posted subject area.
  3. The ability to handle many complex tasks simultaneously.
  4. The ability and interest to be part of a high-functioning team.. (Having respected and trusted colleagues, preferably as teammates, makes the demands of teaching  sustainable.)
  5. The ability and interest to learn continuously and to adapt to changing circumstances (student characteristics, curriculum, and so on).  
  6. A belief in empowering all children as owners of their learning.
