Full Time - Mathematics
Must hold a license issued by Utah State Office of Education.
The license must be in one of the following types: Secondary Education (6-12) (Level 1), Secondary Education (6-12) (Level 2), Secondary Education (6-12) (Level 3).
The license position area must be in one of the following areas: Algebra I, Algebra II, Calculus, Geometry, Math (General), Pre-Algebra, Pre-Calculus, Probability and Statistics, Trigonometry.
The license must be in one of the following grades: 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th.
The license status must be active or about to graduate from a state-approved teacher preparation program.
Applicant will be expected to teach two or more of the following classes: Secondary Mathematics I, II, and III. Ideal candidates will have a deep knowledge of mathematics, as well as be familiar with student-centered approaches to teaching. We seek teachers who believe that all students can understand mathematics, who are committed to using multiple modalities and perspectives to help students with diverse learning styles achieve academic success, and who are committed to equitable teaching practices in the classroom. In addition, we are looking for genuine colleagues, thoughtful, energetic and passionate teachers, and all-around "school people" who want to participate in and contribute to our vibrant community. A love of high school students, flexibility, and a sense of humor are required.
