POSITION:   Monday - Thursday 7:30 to 4:30, Friday 8-4.

QUALIFICATIONS:  Must be licensed with the State of Colorado as an Educator
Youth Experiencing Success (YES) Opportunity School is Moffat County High School’s alternative education program. It will be a blended instruction school utilizing the Learning Management System (LMS) Ingenuity, Positive Behavior Intervention Support, and Community Partners.  

SALARY:  Compensation based on experience.

JOB DESCRIPTION:  Anticipated enrollment at YES will be 75 to 85 students. The Family Liaison Counselor will provide one period of daily Universal PBIS instruction to all YES students. The Family Liaison Counselor will expand Universal PBIS by adding The R Rules into their curriculum. The R Rules resource will be presented in collaboration with Moffat County United Way  in order to increase community awareness and build individual skills that help students navigate in the 21st century.  Using the R Rules model, Gear Up students will met and exceeded academic goals, recovered high school credit, earned college credit and were recognized for leadership by their community and state. The Family Liaison Counselor will also work with YES students on a one-on-one basis throughout the day and coordinate with families from time to time to work on family counseling. They will also be a key member in all attendance, re-entry, weekly reporting and exit meetings.
