Karl G. Maeser Preparatory Academy is seeking an instructor to teach English/History in a 2 period class known as Socratic Seminar. Humanities background helpful. Experience teaching US History a plus.

Instructor will be responsible for following the Maeser Curriculum guide and collaborate with the Socratic department chair and Curriculum Committee and for all related duties including grading, classroom discipline, directing extra-curricular activities, and contributing to development of the school culture. Degree and/or teaching experience in English/History highly preferred and the Candidate should be willing to obtain certification credentials if not already certified.
