Essential Duties


Screens visitors, calls, and mail for both the Gifted and Art Specialists;

Schedules appointments for meetings, arranges conferences by coordinating schedules, reserving meeting space, notifying participants, and mailing agendas as needed;

Handles confidential assignments and types difficult correspondence as needed;

Makes travel arrangements and completes appropriate forms as required ;

Maintains data for a variety of reports for both the Gifted and Arts Programs;

Maintains financial records for all budget items;

Requisitions office supplies for both the Gifted and Art Specialists and teachers;

Operates office equipment; and

Maintains files.


Works with various performing arts vendors and generates an annual schedule of performances throughout the schools;

Generates contracts with performing art vendors and processes invoices as received upon completion of all performances; assist with the processing of grants towards the use of vendors when necessary;

Works with frame lab department to coordinate exhibits of student artwork when submitted throughout the school year; and

Assists Art Specialist with the Afterschool Arts Workshops by generating information packets to schools, coordinating transportation, and clerical support to the assigned facilitators and assistants to said workshops.


Supports the Gifted Specialist and Gifted Resource Teachers through the gifted identification process in regards to clerical work;

Coordinates Academic Year, Summer Residential, and Regional Governor's School Program applications, notifications, transportation, and etc.;

Assists with Early Bird Math, Math Masters, Zone Centers, Cogat testing ; and

Performs other duties as assigned
