Essential Duties Serves as the school attendance secretary, registrar, and Parent Portal administrator Utilizes SubFinder system and secures substitutes Answers telephone and directs calls as necessary Maintains organized work areas, to include office, lobby, and workroom Types letters, reports, documents and a variety of material from rough draft, clear copy, and shorthand or notes, using word processing equipment; material may sometimes be of a confidential nature Proofreads figures, forms, letters and/or reports for accuracy Schedules appointments for interviews, meetings, etc. Organizes and maintains school volunteer information Greets visitors, students, teachers, and parents Opens, sorts, distributes mail, correspondence, copies or other materials Performs related work as assigned
