REPORTS TO: Principal SUPERVISES: N/A TERM: 10 months JOB GOAL: Work with students to help them learn concepts mathematics EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board’s policy on evaluation of personnel.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: J• Provide an instructional program that is differentiated. • Maintain accurate and complete student records, and prepare reports on children and activities, as required by laws, district policies, and administrative regulations. • Commitment to high student achievement & support for all students. • Knowledge of the subject matter being taught. • Ability to exercise various teaching strategies to increase students’ critical thinking skills • Create a secure classroom climate. • Analyze data and adjust your lessons accordingly. • Use available technology in your lessons. • Teach socially acceptable behavior, employing techniques such as behavior modification and positive reinforcement • Establish and enforce rules for behavior and policies and procedures to maintain order among students. • Communicate effectively with parents and students. • Assist with others duties as assigned by the Principal
