- Interest and aptitude in performing the responsibilities listed
- Demonstrates qualities of management, daily work ethic, positive interpersonal relations, and a sensitivity to the needs of all children
Responsibilities:
- Report missing students to the Lunch Director within the first 5 minutes of expected student arrival
- Effectively organize and manage students while eating, during clean up, and while participating in corresponding indoor and/or outdoor recreational activities
- Exhibit good communication skills with students and school staff
- Build and achieve effective rapport with students
- Enforce rules of student conduct in all aspects within the lunch program
- Apply designated/approved strategies to attain management/disciplinary plan based on prescribed program procedures
- Appropriately attend to conditions that affect the health and safety of students
- Follow established channels of communications
- Use discretion in handling confidential information and difficult situations
- Demonstrate an active ability to assist the program coordinator to examine, evaluate, and improve the program
- Other duties as assigned by the Principal and/or Lunch Director
