Positions:  Good Time Friends Aide (part-time)

Posting Dates:  September 21 - 25, 2026 internal; September 26 - October 4 external

 

Reports To:  Good Time Friends Director, Lisa Gross

 

Location: Evergreen Elementary

Date of Employment:  As soon as permissible

Starting Wage:  $16.30 per hour at the Parapro II level

 

Hours Needed: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday PM only

From 3:15 - 5:00 PM

  • Flexible to be available to cover 6 hour shifts on 1/2 and no school days.

Qualifications: 

 Must have a passion for working with children, ages 5 yrs to rising 6th graders 

 Ability to provide a nurturing, safe, and caring environment 

 First Aid and CPR training preferred 

 Self-directed, able to multitask and work with parents 

 

Requirements:

  • Complete 7 hours of Health & Safety modules prior to the start date
  • Complete at least 16 hours (minimum) of Professional Development (PD) training
  • Federal Fingerprinting ($65 - pd by prospective employee)
  • CPR/1st Aid Training
  • MiRegistry/MiVirtual account set up for new staff

 

Essential job functions: 

 Supervise student activities indoors and outdoors 

Working with small and large groups on and whole class basis

 Manage student behaviors

 Follow directions from supervisor and other staff members
