Qualifications: 

• Valid New Jersey School Nurse Certificate or Registered Nurse License
• Minimum experience as determined by the board
• Demonstrated expertise in school health nursing practice and emergency procedures
• Knowledge of child growth and development, community and family dynamics, current health issues, and wellness education
• Knowledge of community health and social services resources and ability to communicate effectively with non-school health professionals and social service agencies
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills (bilingual in English and Spanish a plus)
• Required criminal history check and proof of U.S. citizenship or resident alien status

Salary & Benefits:

• Per the established salary guide ranging from $57,700 - $64,350 (prorated)
• Eligible for Medical, Prescription, Dental and Vision benefits based on duration of assignment
• Sick and personal days are included per contract
